The first step is to have a professional mold inspection. If mold is confirmed, a mold remediation protocol should be created. A licensed remediation company must then follow this protocol to properly and safely remove the mold.

No. Under Texas law, mold inspection and mold remediation must be performed by separate companies. A licensed mold testing company is not allowed to perform remediation, and remediation companies are not allowed to conduct mold testing on the same project.
